Clear and bright thinking is required to keep large and complex programs on track. Large IT projects and business redesign programs are not bound to overspend or overrun – although it may sometimes seem so. By continuously focusing on the essentials and ruthlessly prioritising against business benefits and risks pitfalls will be avoided.
