Program organisation - governance model and program office
Teamwork is essential in setting up a proper organisation for the program. It requires a common understanding of responsibilities and accountabilities within the program. Not only the support of the board for the governance structure is required, but more their action to ensure a proper positioning within the existing organisation. Only then can decisions be driven organisation wide and will the program result in implementing the outlined strategic direction.
Supporting the organisation a program office is required with limited resources that cover at least the following roles :
- Program director
- Program manager
- Business case analyst
- Business architect
- Business case specialist
- Integration analyst
- Change manager
