Carbon (CO2) Footprint

For the companies with no idea about their environmental impact of greenhouse gases, i4b offers a carbon footprint service. The Carbon Footprint of the customer is built up in accordance with the Green House Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) and international and national standards. i4b distinguishes from competition by examining and documenting the integrated value system and value chain of its customers. All links in the Value System including all supporting activities are screened on carbon emission. Using the companies bookkeeping system and where necessary additional research the energy performances are described and quantified to be converted into CO2 emissios. The service may vary per company based on their specific situation and requirement.

When we mention Carbon or CO2 (carbon dioxide) we always mean all Green House Gases, beginning with Carbon. The other Green House Gases are also called Carbon equivalents. They are: CH4 (Methane), N2O (Nitrous oxide), HFC's (Hydrofluorcarbons), PFC's (Perfluorcarbons), SF6 (Sulphur hexafluoride).
